Glen Rock Police Blotter April 13 - April 19, 2020

12:10 PM – A 38-year-old Glen Rock man was reported missing by his family. The following day at 11:30 AM, Sgt. Mike Trover along with members of the Hawthorne Police Department located the man at the 7-11 in Hawthorne. The man was found to be injured and was transported to St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Paterson; his family was notified.
6:25 PM – Patrols, along with Glen Rock Fire Fighters, responded to a residence on the 200 block of Glen Avenue on a reported structure fire. The resident reported that flames were coming from the electrical breaker panel in the basement. Responding officers were able to put out the fire with an extinguisher before it was able to spread. PSE&G, along with a private electrician worked with Fire Fighters to ensure that the home was safe until repairs could be completed.
8:04 PM – A Glen Rock man reported that he left his bicycle unlocked and unattended on the dead end of Diamond court around 7 PM. When he returned about 20 minutes later the bicycle was gone. The man was unsure of the make or model of the bicycle, only that it was about 10-years-old, is black and grey with gears on both sides. There are no known witnesses.
