John's Boy Pizzeria has been a proud part of Glen Rock since we opened in 1983. Many of our customers are regulars, and we know them by name.

Umberto and Patrizia are the owners of John’s Boy Pizzeria in downtown Glen Rock. Patrizia is the daughter of John, who opened John’s Boy in 1983. Pizza and Italian food have been in their blood for over 50 years. John immigrated from Southern Italy and began working in a pizza shop in New York City in 1957.

Eventually, John and his wife, Francesca, opened their own shop. John focused on the main attraction: traditional, thin-crust pizza with his homemade crust and sauce. Francesca was responsible for everything else.

John's Boy is a true family-owned restaurant. Patrizia grew up helping her mom, Francesca, in the shop's kitchen and now she and her husband have taken over the family restaurant. They haven't made a single change to John's classic recipes. The fresh ingredients and signature recipes are what make John's pizza and entrees so delicious.

When they opened in Glen Rock, they hired a new pizza man, Umberto. Patrizia and Umberto fell in love working at John’s Boy and have been married for 14 years. They are the new owners of John’s Boy and continue the tradition of making excellent pizza and Italian food.

The friendly and welcoming nature of owners Umberto and Patty and the incredible pizza will bring a smile to your face. With both the thin crust and Sicilian style pizzas, overstuffed heroes, salads, and Italian dinners, there is plenty to please any appetite. Everyone will enjoy watching pizza get tossed while enjoying the latest World Cup games. At John’s, each customer is a friendly face.
